Westech Environmental LLC operates under verified regulatory authority on both sides of the United States–Canada border. Our U.S. Department of Energy Authorization (DOE 5371) permits the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) consistent with the national interest. Our Canada Energy Regulator long-term authorization (CER GO-023-2026) authorizes corresponding cross-border movement under Canadian federal oversight.
Together, these instruments form the regulatory backbone of the North American LNG Export Corridor — a verified compliance framework spanning British Columbia, Canada, through to Houston, Texas, USA.
Each authorization reflects completed environmental review, satisfied national interest determination, and confirmed alignment with U.S. and Canadian export policy. They empower the cross-border development, ownership, and operation of critical LNG infrastructure in service of energy security and international demand.
At Westech, compliance is not a step in the process. Compliance is the foundation we deliver energy on.
Authorizations Establish the Foundation
Five Steps. One Standard. Tradeable Credits.
Westech aligns Pacific corridor activities to the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM) under Article 6.4. Every project we structure is built to qualify through all five stages — host-Party Letter of Approval, methodology approval by the UN Supervisory Body, project registration on the PACM registry, independent third-party monitoring and verification, and final A6.4ER issuance into the UN mechanism.
We prepare host-Party submissions, retain accredited Designated Operational Entities for validation and verification, and maintain audit-grade chain-of-custody documentation aligned with UNFCCC requirements.
The result: credits that hold up under sovereign, financial, and atmospheric scrutiny.
Compliance framework reference for regulators, carbon credit buyers, and LNG offtake counterparties.

Chain of Custody — From Molecule to Credit
Every Westech LNG shipment carries a verified compliance file. From originator to long-term archive, each step is recorded, time-stamped, and validated against UN sanctions lists, OFAC SDN, BIS Entity List, and PACM registry standards. Parties, vessels, and emissions reductions are screened and cleared before issuance. The result is a single, auditable chain — molecule to manifest to A6.4ER credit — that holds up under sovereign, financial, and atmospheric scrutiny. Compliance is not paperwork attached to a shipment. It is the shipment.
